Border Force Australia | Straddle Carrier

Border Force Australia utilises the MobiCon shipping container handling equipment at freight entry points. Containers are loaded and unloaded from road transport, then placed into various locations for unpacking, inspection, x-ray and other border security matters.

The sensitive and covert manner in which some operations have to be conducted meant the order force officers required the skills to operate the container handling equipment – a skill set generally unique to those working in supply chain facilities.
