Description

The Walkie Stacker is an increasingly common piece of equipment.

As with any piece of equipment, it is an employer’s responsibility under the Worksafe Act to ensure users are trained in the safe operation.

Found in small warehouses as a primary load shifting machine, or in large operations in a supplementary or supporting role to forklifts, these machines are excellent in their versatility and accessibility in tight areas, pedestrian-operated, it comes with a unique set of hazards, capabilities and limitations.

One Stop Training has a learning program built to suit the walkie stacker, and can be delivered face to face to individuals or groups anywhere in Queensland.

Operators however, are still required to have been formally trained in the use of the equipment by a qualified and competent person, and maintain that competency
