Forklift and Boom Lift Refresher Training is conducted for individuals or groups in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, either at our training facilities or on-site (for groups), by nationally accredited experts. The Refresher process is designed to cover the initial unit of competency for the equipment in more detail than in a classroom setting. It is a combination of theory and practical activities, plus observation and written assessment. For employers wishing to comply with legislation to maintain the competency of operators, this is a comprehensive solution for the provision of evidence of compliance.
Refresher Training is provided for employers wishing to comply with legislation to maintain the competency of operators, or who need to provide ongoing evidence of monitoring the work of their employees. The refresher can be conducted annually, alternately to the six monthly VOC, as part of an ongoing program of employee training and competency maintenance. Many employers also use refresher training to assist workers post-incident, as part of return to work programs, to ensure that their competencies remain current after an absence.
The forklift and boom lift refresher training results in written outcomes for the employee and employer, and may also identify where any training gaps exist or if there are areas that require immediate attention.
Refresher training can be provided for the following specialist areas:
- FCL container forklift
- Empty container handler
- Order picker
- Boom lift
- Scissor lift
- Straddle carrier
- Walkie stacker
- Electric pallet jack
